Green Magazine earned press in all kinds of unexpected quarters. When they’d print the publication’s 800-number — which rang not at some fancy office space but at Ken Kurson’s apartment in Chelsea — the team would get tons of phone calls from people looking for a free sample copy or signing up for a subscription.
In August 1997, at the height of her Friends popularity, Jennifer Aniston appeared on the cover of this issue of Cosmopolitan. In the front of the book ran a cute story about Green and man did that light up the phones.
