From 1996-2000, I appeared every week on CNNfn as a “guest analyst” and expert on behalf of Green Magazine. The CNN producer who signed me up, Howard Patlis, made this intro video they’d play featuring me zooming around Wall St and midtown on my Vespa GL-150. Man, I miss that scooter.
CNNfn founder Lou Dobbs used to smoke like crazy in his office and occasionally he’d call me in to tell me he had liked my segment that week. The hosts I appeared with most frequently were Kitty Pilgrim, John Metaxas, and Valerie Morris, but I made well over 200 appearances and loved feeling like “part of the team” over there at 5 Penn Plaza.
